I cannot get these drivers to work. I'm using an xp machine and every time I turn on the usb tethering, it automatically installs drivers identified as 'HTC remote ndis remote device' and it has a big yellow! I tried pointing at your folder for the device wizard and it says it couldn't locate better drivers to install. 'Samsung Mobile USB Remote NDIS Network has a driver problem'. Sandisk sansa m250 manual. I have used the troubleshooting feature on the PC which didn't fix it and gave me the following message: 'The Samsung mobile USB remote NDIS network device adapter is experiencing driver or hardware-related problems, Not fixed'.
Microsoft provides an NDIS miniport driver, Rndismp.sys, which implements the Remote NDIS message set and communicates with generic bus transport drivers, which in turn communicate with the appropriate bus driver. This NDIS miniport driver is implemented and maintained by Microsoft and is distributed as part of all supported Windows versions. You can find it in the %SystemRoot%System32drivers directory.
To use the Remote NDIS driver with a USB device, an IHV must provide an INF file according to one of the following templates:
